The Lavochkin NPO is completing the preparation of the Spectrum-RG astrophysical observatory, the device will explore the Universe in the gamma and X-ray hard energy range.
Spektr-RG is a continuation of the project of astrophysical observatories.
The first Spektr-R observatory with the Radioastron interferometer telescope was put into orbit in 2011, followed by Spektr-RG, the third and fourth Spektr-UV and Spektr-M spacecraft are planned to be launched into space.
With their help, scientists want to get new information about distant galaxies millions of light-years away from us.
The plot starred Vladimir Babushkin, Mikhail Pavlinsky, Yuri Kovalev, Boris Shustov, Alexander Moisheev, research engineer at the Institute of Astronomy of the Russian Academy of Sciences Maria Zvereva, Viktor Pyshnov, Nikolai Kardashev.
